What is UPPERROOM Academy?

In the Bible, the Upper Room was a place of profound encounter and transformation. It was where the disciples gathered, experienced the outpouring of the Holy Spirit, and were empowered to change the world.

That same fire still exists today. UPPERROOM Academy is a modern-day Upper Room, a place of encounter, consecration and preparation. A place where young adults are empowered to live a life on mission with God.

We are an inivitative of Christian Heritage College (CHC) and International Network of Churches (INC)

Coffee & Connect

Grab a coffee and connect with other young adults.

10am – 5pm

Day Sessions

Immersive training, teaching and impartation from various pastors & leaders.

A night of powerful encounter. Prayer + Worship + Ministry.

Streams will be focussed sessions that run on a Thursday afternoon run where you can go deeper in a particular sphere. We're excited to announce more info about this soon.

For the ones who carry the room. Sound, songwriting, presence and the craft of leading people into encounter.

Faith that works on Monday. Business, creativity and influence as ministry in every sphere of life.

Encounter is the starting point. Tarrying, the gifts, the prophetic and walking with the Spirit as a daily reality.

CHC is the higher education ministry of the International Network of Churches (INC). The CHC School of Ministries hosts UPPERROOM Academy as a vibrant start to the year on the CHC campus.

Established particularly for under-30s to encounter more of God, find purpose, and discover the call God has for their life.

The Diploma of Ministry meets ordination standards and sets you up for serving God in the church, whilst growing your own relationship with God and building strong relationships with other students.

$400, which includes lunch, dinner, a t-shirt, a journal and all sessions. Payable after your application has been accepted.

The four Thursdays of February 2027: the 4th, 11th, 18th and 25th. Coffee from 9:30am, day sessions 10am–5pm, and ministry nights 6:30–8:30pm.

On the CHC campus, at 322 Wecker Road, Carindale, Brisbane, QLD.

Yes. We run two streams at a time. Choose one for Weeks 1–2 (Worship or Marketplace) and one for Weeks 3–4 (Holy Spirit or Leadership), so you can walk away with up to two streams.

Yes. The 6:30–8:30pm ministry nights are open to everyone. Bring your friends, your small group, your whole church.

Many people travel to attend UPPERROOM Academy. Some come early Thursday morning and head back Friday morning; others come just for the day. However you do it, we'll make it worth the trip.

It's established particularly for under-30s to encounter more of God, find purpose and discover their calling, but anyone hungry for more of God is welcome.
